Hobson Freedon Park, located at 2910 Trebein Road in Beavercreek Township, was named after former Congressman Dave Hobson in honor of his efforts in acquiring the land for the park.

A portion of the park is open to the public sunrise to sunset and offers a playground, shelter, picnic tables, hiking trails and grill that may be reserved.

Currently, only tournament quality athletic fields are available for play. Multiple major soccer tournaments attracting thousands of visitors to the region are held annually. These tournaments have a significant impact on the local economy as families visit Greene County. For more information on reserving an athletic field, contact GCP&T 937-562-6440.

Offering healthy, fresh food to park patrons and supporting local farmers, GCP&T will offer a Farmers' Market from 3 to 7 p.m., the first and third Tuesday of each month, at Hobson Freedom Park, 2910 Trebein Rd., Beavercreek. Stop by and pick up locally grown, delicious food for your dinner. Vendors are still being accepted and can download the vendor application here to request booth space.
