Beaver Creek Wetlands Reserve

We’re not sure if magic is a real thing.

But some places make it hard to doubt.

Birds fly wherever they want. Come to the Beaver Creek Wetlands Reserve to see why they want to be here so often. Stroll or hike the trails through woodlands and you’ll feel like you’re walking through an entire world of beauty – including marshes, wet prairies, woodland pools and the Beaver Creek.

Come with your children and bring a camera – you won’t realize how much you’re learning until you start telling stories afterward and showing others what you saw.

There’s no such thing as bad weather.

Exploring the Wetlands is awesome when it’s wet!

Seriously. Heading out to explore our natural world when it’s raining can be some of the most fascinating experiences you will have with your children or friends. Grab your rain gear and witness the colors and sounds of the woodlands in the rain. Splash in some puddles. If you have a waterproofed camera, the images you capture can be stunning. PLEASE NOTE: Be safe! Please be sure you check for weather alerts. A Spring or Summer shower is one thing…lightning storms and worse, not so much!
