Pumpkin glow

6:00 – 9:00 pm
October 27, 28, 29 & 30

Caesar Ford Park
520 South Stringtown Road
Xenia, OH

The trails of Caesar Ford Park will be glowing as you wander your way looking at hand painted, custom pumpkins, all done with black light reflective paint.

As you arrive for the Pumpkin Glow, you will be given a black light flashlight, or you can bring your own. You will set out on a mile long hike with hundreds of pumpkins just waiting to be discovered. What will you find? Scooby? Country music icons? Birds? Probably so…and a whole lot more as well. Just keep you eyes open as you won’t be able to see them in the dark.

This program will run for 4 nights.

This is a free program to attend, donations appreciated. For more information call (937) 562-6440.

In preparation for our annual Pumpkin Glow, Greene County Parks & Trails needs your skill and creativity to paint and design pumpkin art templates on Monday, October 21 at Hobson Freedom Park in Fairborn. Call 937-562-6440 to volunteer your talent!

Our next step will be a fun day of pumpkin carving for everyone on Wednesday and Thursday, October 23-24 starting at 8am. The community is invited to join various art groups and professionals to carve and paint 2,000 pumpkins in styles ranging from normal jack-o-lanterns to more intricate and detailed pieces of art.
