We carry the weight of those who have served—those lost on the battlefield\, on the streets of America\, and to their own struggles—by fostering a community of care\, compassion\, and commitment. Through education\, advocacy\, and action\, we are dedicated to providing the resources and support necessary to help prevent veteran suicide and ensure that no warrior is ever forgotten. Together\, we ruck\, we carry\, and we bear the burden\, working toward a future where our heroes find the peace\, support\, and recognition they deserve. \nFamilies are encouraged to “carry the weight” together at this FREE event.  Donations will be accepted on site and will benefit The Service Members Veterans Families (SMVF) subcommittee of the Greene County Suicide Prevention Coalition.

DESCRIPTION:Did you enjoy growing up with Highlights Seek and Find puzzles? What if you and your kids could be part of a hide and seek game\, with the Russ Nature Reserve being your puzzle board? \nThat is right! Hundreds of pumpkins will be hidden along the trails at the Russ Nature Reserve and your child\, age 4-12\, will have to search and find pumpkins that match images on the cards we provide. Each child will be given a card with 10 different objects to find\, painted on the pumpkins. Once they find them\, cross them off and keep looking. When all 10 are found\, return to the tent for some fun money that is good to spend at our candy store and in our pumpkin patch (1 candy bag and pumpkin purchase per registered child). Children are encouraged to come in costume! \nThis is a FREE program\, registration is required and opens August 16th. If you register and are unable to attend\, please call so your spot does not go unused. \nThis is a drop-in program\, you can come any time between 5:30 & 7:30 p.m.
