DESCRIPTION:The hunt for Bigfoot is on!  Bring your GPS\, headlamps/flashlights and sense of adventure to Caesar Ford Park to see if you can find him.  Use coordinates to find trails marked by reflective fire tacks and if you are lucky\, they will guide you to the the beast! \nPlease register each participant for a time slot and arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.  Take all the time you need to do the hunt once out on your adventure.  Staff will remain on site until 11:20 pm. \nRegister each big foot hunter that is participating\, no kids allowed for this one.  This is an 18 and up program only.  Shirts will be provided (at the end) for the big foot hunters that attend.  Sorry\, if you register and do not show\, you won’t get your shirt. \nNon-registered guests will not be able to attend.

If so\, we want to invite you to the Warrior Resiliency Celebration program! \nVeterans\, service members\, and their families are invited to join the Warrior Resiliency Team\, along with Greene County Veterans Services and Greene County Parks & Trails\, for Veteran specific programming.  A place where like-minded individuals can get together for fun\, fellowship and more.  We want to serve those that have served! \n  \nWarrior Resiliency Top Shot Archery Event\nArchery is an activity that has been around for centuries and has been used for various purposes\, including hunting and combat. However\, in recent years\, it has gained popularity as a recreational activity and even as a form of therapy. For military veterans\, archery can be an excellent way to promote physical and mental well-being. Whether you were a Special Operations Marine or Personnel Specialist\, you can get into the sport and reap the benefits. One of the therapeutic benefits of archery is that it can help to promote physical fitness. Shooting a bow requires some upper body strength and core stability\, which can help to improve overall fitness. Archery can provide a low-impact way to work on strength and flexibility without putting excessive stress on the body. In addition to physical benefits\, and perhaps more importantly\, archery can also promote mental wellness. Shooting a bow requires a great deal of focus and concentration\, which can help to clear the mind and reduce stress. This can be especially beneficial for veterans who may be dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or other mental health issues. Archery can provide a way to focus the mind and relax\, which can help to reduce anxiety and improve overall well-being. Come join us for a fun and exciting way to enjoy the sport by learning the basics of using a Bow and compete to see how much you learned at the end of instruction. DESCRIPTION:Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES. \nHomeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun\, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities. \nDress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors\, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy. \nAt least one adult must be present with each homeschool group. \nRegistration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series. \n\n\n\nCreek Exploration\nBring your homeschoolers out to Caesar Ford Park to look for fish\, amphibians\, insects and more in the creek. Learn about the critters that live in the ripples and which ones indicate the health of our streams. A limited number of nets will be available to borrow for the program. Close-toed shoes are recommended. Late comers follow the signs to find us.
