Greene Grasshoppers – Fishing Derby

Free| Toss in your line and try to catch a whopper!
The pond will be stocked specifically for the derby, all you need to bring is a chair, fishing pole, tackle and extra bait. Greene County Parks & Trails will provide 1 container of worms for each preschooler fishing. Don’t worry, we will have staff on hand if the fish swallows the hook, if the child catches a tree bass or if the fishing line gets broken. All kids will be winners and will leave with a prize. Additional prizes will be awarded for the largest fish caught and the most fish caught. A snack and a drink will be provided to each child fishing.
