Talon Silverhorn

A citizen of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, Talon Silverhorn will be joining Greene County Parks & Trails for an afternoon conversation at Caesar Ford Park. The discussion will touch on people’s image of American Indians and where it comes from, how historical information compares and contrasts and how that translates to modern day. Following there will be a question and answer session.

Learn more about Talon Silverhorn’s background and his living culture.

Talon Silverhorn starred as Blue Jacket in the short film, “Caesar: An American Maroon,” by local playwright, Kane Stratton, that explores the life of a Black man named Casear, a “maroon” among the Shawnee people of Southwestern Ohio in the 1770s.
