This session will go over the basics of urban homesteading\, preparing you for a bountifully abundant year. Getting started can be overwhelming\, we will break it all down into easy-to-follow steps and will help you understand the ins and outs of urban homesteading!\n\n\n\nMarch Class \n\nBuild\n\nWinter seed starting is a great way to get the start on your abundance for the year! In this session we will start some greens in a milk jug. Soil and seeds will be provided\, bring your own milk jugs! We will also discuss different ways you can garden in small spaces with containers and indoor grow towers!\n\n\n\nApril Class \n\nGrow\n\nNow we are prepared and have started some seeds\, we move on to GROW! Abundance in small spaces is achievable! This session will discuss container gardening\, soil\, and getting the most from the space you have. Tweens\, ages 10-17\, will spend the evening creating their own custom beauty products from Kool-Aid lip balm to sugar scrubs and more. Pajama parties aren’t complete without some music\, laughter\, and food\, so drinks and pizza will be provided. Parents are not required to stay for this program\, but the children must be signed in and out of the program. \n  \nOur GTO program is for preteens and teens ages 10-17. \nOur goal is to encourage this age group to get out of the house\, off electronics and social media and into the parks! \nWe will provide a variety of activities and programs geared towards preteens and teens that are fun and exciting once a month\, most of the year.
