SUMMARY:Homeschool Science Days: Shelter Building and Honeysuckle Pull Party - No Registration
DESCRIPTION:Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES. \nHomeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun\, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities. \nDress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors\, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy. \nAt least one adult must be present with each homeschool group. \nRegistration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series. \nShelter Building and Honeysuckle Pull Party\nBring your homeschoolers out to learn how to make a debris hut and help us with some land management at the same time. By pulling invasive honeysuckle out of the ground to cover their huts\, they will help native plants survive. Debris huts will only stay up until the program is over and then\, we will make it look like we were never there.

No walk-ins can be accepted. \n* We will be crafting with non washable paints\, please dress accordingly. * \nThis year we will be registering people in time slots to better serve our guests.  Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your scheduled time slot.

DESCRIPTION:Santa’s Elves will be around to assist with our new program\, Santabilities Workshop\, as we open the North Pole to those that need a little extra help and attention. \nSantabilities Workshop is the same great program as Santa’s Workshop\, just geared to people that are differently-abled.  This program is for the young and the young at heart as we do not have an age restriction.  Each registered guest will make hand-made gifts to give others during the holiday season. \nA lot less chaos\, a lot less people\, a much quieter environment to accommodate ALL! \nYou do not need to attend for the full 90 minutes\, you can attend anytime during the program hours as long as you leave time to complete the crafts prior to closing.
