DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center Park (Large Shelter) to learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s & dementia\, the difference between the two\, and the stages and risk factors of both.  Alzheimer’s is not normal aging.  It is a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory\, thinking\, and behavior. \nA representative from the Ohio State University (OSU) Extension Office will present this informative program in reference to understanding Alzheimer’s & dementia and the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s.  This program covers typical age-related changes\, common warning signs of Alzheimer’s\, how to approach someone about memory concerns\, early detection\, and Alzheimer’s Association resources. \nThis is a FREE program for those Ages 55 & Up.  Picnic tables are available or you are welcome to bring a chair or cushion for your comfort.  See you there! \nFairgrounds Recreation Center Park is located at:  210 Fairground Road\, Xenia\, Ohio\, next to the Greene County Fairgrounds and across from the James Ranch Park.
