Here’s how it will work – \n* Each month\, May – August\, we will highlight a specific park and will post pictures of certain landmarks\, unique markings\, etc.\n* This will all be posted on Facebook on the 1st of each month.\n* Visit that park\, find those specific landmarks\, markings\, etc. and snap a selfie with each of them in the background. (We have to be able to see it!)\n* Upload and submit those photos to this link – https://www.gcparkstrails.com/selfie-scavenger-hunt/\n* Those who find every hidden item\, at each of the parks each month\, will receive an awesome prize from GCP&T!\n(Don’t worry\, we will keep track of those who submit\, but you are more than welcome to create your own fun collection of all the photos you’ve taken.)

DESCRIPTION:Bring your homeschool groups outside for hands-on science designed for all ages. Two programs are designed just for homeschoolers. They are called Homeschool Science Days and Homeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES. \nHomeschool Science Days are station-based with various fun\, educational activities. These are drop in programs that begin at 10 am and go to noon. Please plan to arrive no later than 11:30 in order to have time to enjoy the activities. \nDress for the weather. This program will be entirely outdoors\, rain or shine.   There is a chance that participants may get muddy.\nAt least one adult must be present with each homeschool group.\nRegistration is no longer needed for the homeschool educational series.  \nCold-blooded Critters\nWhat does ectothermic mean? It’s another word for cold-blooded. Learn all about Cold-blooded Critters through hands-on activities\, crafts\, games and encounters with live Cold-Blooded Critters. Please arrive no later than 11:30 to have time to enjoy this program. \n

Learn step-by-step techniques from the pros and design your own delicious masterpiece to take home. \nNo experience needed — just bring your love of dessert and a willingness to have fun! \nThese classes are a six-part series offered every other month throughout the year\, each featuring a new theme and design to keep your skills (and your sweet tooth) growing. \nYou must register for each class individually.  Each registered guest will receive one ele cake with an assortment of icing\, fondant as well as instruction on how to create these masterpieces.  Once finished\, you will take your cake home to enjoy.
