DESCRIPTION:Pamper Party\n***Location change from 2025*** Put on the PJ’s\, grab the slippers and join us for an evening of pampering with the GCPT staff. Tweens\, ages 10-17\, will spend the evening creating their own custom beauty products from Kool-Aid lip balm to sugar scrubs and more. Pajama parties aren’t complete without some music\, laughter\, and food\, so drinks and pizza will be provided. Parents are not required to stay for this program\, but the children must be signed in and out of the program. \n  \nOur GTO program is for preteens and teens ages 10-17. \nOur goal is to encourage this age group to get out of the house\, off electronics and social media and into the parks! \nWe will provide a variety of activities and programs geared towards preteens and teens that are fun and exciting once a month\, most of the year.

DESCRIPTION:Have you ever heard a bird and wondered what is was?  Seen a plant and were curious about it’s name?  Wanted to take a hike but weren’t sure of the best trails?  This series of nature tech for newbies is for you!  Each session will focus on a specific app or tech that makes nature more accessible. Topics include: Merlin ID for bird identification\, iNaturalist for plant and animal identification\, OuterSpatial and AllTrails for maps and hiking\, and more! \nParticipants should have a device that will allow app downloading for the full experience. \n\n\nStellarium\nThe night sky holds many mysteries\, learn how to use an app to identify what you see! There will be a brief presentation about the app and then we will practice using it together!\n\nComing in 2026:\nApril – iNaturalist Bioblitz\nMay – Merlin & OuterSpatial
