Learn what prairies are and the benefits to having them. \nHomeschool Science Days DISCOVERY HIKES  last one hour and cover seasonal topics such as wildflowers\, habitats\, animal tracking and more.There is a maximum number of 50 participants per hike time. Groups will then be divided into smaller sizes depending on staff and volunteer availability.

DESCRIPTION:Create your own art masterpiece while enjoying the park atmosphere at Fairgrounds Recreation Center! \nYou will receive a blank canvas upon which you may paint/create your masterpiece. Paint will also be provided during the program. Whether you paint or draw your favorite object &/or person\, or paint a nature scene in our park\, it will be a nice time to enjoy other “artist’s camaraderie” during this program. \nPlease join us and create your own work of art that you may enjoy for years to come\, or that you may want to give as a gift to someone special! \nPicnic tables are available.  Please bring your own comfortable chair or cushion for your comfort. \nThis is a free program but registration is required.
