DESCRIPTION:Are you a critter lover?  If so\, come explore the wonderful animals that call our parks home at Critter Camp! \nSpend the week with our naturalists as we search for wild critters in all sorts of habitats\, learning about their amazing adaptations.  You will also get to meet GCP&T animal ambassadors and have hands-on experiences with them! \nThis program will include a field trip to the Cincinnati Zoo to visit additional “critters” in the animal kingdom. \n***Field location subject to change based on scheduling***

SUMMARY:Music in the Park with Robert Colaner - "Bobby the Piano Guy"
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a musical performance by Robert Colaner\, aka “Bobby the Piano Guy”! \nBob Colaner will be performing at the Fairgrounds Recreation Center Park\, large shelter\, on Friday\, August 9\, 2024\, from 1:30pm-2:30pm.  Mr. Colaner is a long time Xenia resident who studied at the University of Mount Union and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.  Bob has been a classroom music teacher\, private music teacher\, arranger\, conductor and conference speaker. \nBob will be performing music which he will play on his electric keyboard.  We hope you will attend this program to enjoy some music from different eras\, including gentle piano jazz and a bit of Rock ‘n’ Roll! \nThis is a free event for those ages 55 and up.  Picnic tables are available or you are welcome to bring a comfortable chair along.  See you there! \nFairgrounds Recreation Center Park is located at:  210 Fairground Road\, Xenia\, Ohio\, next to the Greene County Fairgrounds and across from the James Ranch Park.

DESCRIPTION:Are you a know-it-all? An armchair Jeopardy Champion? \nWell\, join us at the Russ Nature Reserve for our new Trivia Night where you will be quizzed and challenged on a variety of topics. \nOur top “brainiacs” will receive a prize as well as bragging rights. \nTeams may have no more than 8 members. The program begins promptly at 6 pm. Late arrivals will be at a disadvantage due to missing the opportunity to answer all questions.
