There's no better way to spend a Saturday morning in March than to experience the magic of Maple Sugar season. Start your day by enjoying a hearty breakfast of sausage and pancakes with real Narrows Reserve maple syrup, along with coffee, juice or milk. After breakfast, take a tour of the sugar camp to see how the syrup is made. We tap the trees at the Narrows and boil it to create our very own maple syrup. Tours are free with your purchase of breakfast.
Ages 7 and older: $7; Ages 3 to 6: $4; Under age 3: free.
Tour only: $4 ; under age 6, free.
We are looking for corporate sponsors to help with the overall cost of this program and the breakfast in March. The benefits include exposure of your business not only to regional visitors, but statewide as well.
Please email or call Robin Gregory, Events Manager at 937-562-6471 if you are interested in sponsorship opportunities.
See your own sugar maple bucket collecting sap this season. Only $50 per bucket for the year. Families who rent buckets receive a free pancake breakfast for up to 4 people.
If you have a classroom or group (10+) that would like a private tour of the Maple Sugar Camp, special days are available for you; 90 minute tours are available and must be completed by 5 p.m. Call Cris Barnett at 937-562-6474 or email her here to schedule a date and receive cost information. This program meets State of Ohio Science Standards.
